New England Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science

We are the New England Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. We are headquartered in Massachusetts, but we serve the following states:

  • Connecticut
  • Maine
  • Massachusetts
  • New Hampshire
  • Rhode Island
  • Vermont

We serve practitioners, scientists, and students in disciplines relevant to functional contextual cognitive and behavioral science:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based practice (EBP)
  • Relational Frame Theory (RFT), ACT’s underlying theory of human language and cognition
  • Contextual Behavioral Science (CBS), the research paradigm underlying the development of RFT and ACT
